First Baptist is hosting a ladies’ luncheon to encourage women of all ages in their walk with Christ. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Bring a friend, a family member or an acquaintance.

In an effort to encourage our membership to attend members’ meetings, we will meet the last Sunday afternoon following our monthly fellowship brunch.

The purpose of a church service is to commune with God. At the height of that communion is the remembrance of the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ for the sins of the lost and the continued anticipation of his imminent return. We call this that remembrance a Communion Service. Our goal at FBC then is to seek the Lord Jesus in heart preparation of that communion service. Thus, beginning on April 30, 2023 our monthly communion service followed by our fellowship brunch will take place on the last Sunday of each month.

You are invited to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar. And it is a wonderful time to remember the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ on our behalf through singing, prayer and the study of the Easter story. Bring your friends and family for Easter Sunday. CHRIST IS RISEN!!!

Dr. Mark Lounsbrough is no stranger to FBC. He has served on the faculty of Faith Baptist Bible College since 2008 as the head of the department for world missions. Prior to his ministry in Ankeny, IA, Dr. Lounsbrough served as a missionary to Brazil from 1989-2008. We are excited to hear the Word of God from Dr. Lounsbrough.
